This set of head stock bearings are taper roller style and have been manufactured to replace the original set of steering bearings with part no 91015-425-832 or 91015-KV6-003 on an CRF230 for the years and models shown above

so you'll no longer need to use a resistor in the system and in turn will get a better spark
